About the program
In Kununurra, some young people face increased risks, particularly after hours. This service provides practical, on-the-ground support to help keep them safe and connected.
Night Patrol operates in the evenings, engaging with young people in the community, offering safe transport and reducing night-time street presence. The Youth Service provides supervised spaces where young people can access meals, activities and informal mentoring.
Together, these supports create safer alternatives and opportunities for connection. The program also works closely with local organisations and community leaders, helping connect young people to longer-term supports and services when needed.
